Mail in Netflirt:

On nearly every page of www.netflirt.de you will see those «mail»-buttons. By pressing these buttons you invoke the Netflirt-userscan. This function scans all chatrooms for their actual users and displays a list of all rooms with all the people in there, but also all those users actually not located in any chat-room. This page presents several functions to you:

Mail to Netflirt-staff

By clicking one of these buttons you can send e-mail to the Netflirt-staff. The different mail buttons are for different subjects:

Engineering is the address you should send any comments about malfunctions of Netflirt HTML-, CGI- oder Java/JavaScript-code, so if you are facing such problems or questions, hit this button.

Feedback is the right address for (you guess it) your feedback. Please note that all feedback is welcome here at Netflirt. Netflirt will steadily expand due to your submissions to this address, so if you miss some features, dislike something we already implemented or even want to tell us what you like about Netflirt (which of course is of interest to us), send it there.

Transportation hopes to receive any messages concerning the transportation system of Netflirt.

General is the right address to write to for any other subjects. Especially send your personal ID-data to this address. As you might already have noticed, every new user of Netflirt gets her/his personal ID-card automatically, containing a somewhat blurred photograph, your ranking (which depends on how often you have logged in to Netflirt after a certain period of time) and a comment saying 'no comment'. Now if you'd like to get a really personal ID-card, simply send us a photograph (preferredly one showing yourself), your comment and also the name you use in Netflirt. We then will put these things on the server and next time you send a personal message to someone, this person will see your personal ID-card in the upper-right part of the Global Chat Interface. Don't hesitate, since we don't charge you for this.

ID of users

Next to every username two small icons are displayed. The first one, ID, will open a small window (when pressed) containing the personal ID-card of that user. Try it and quickly decide to send us your own personal ID-data (see mail to Netflirt-Staff, General, above on this page.

Mail to users

The second small icon next to each username, the @-sign, will open a page where you can enter and submit a personal message to that person. This message will be shown to that user the next time she/he logs in to Netflirt, so you can use this to leave a message for users that currently are not logged in. Note that you won't be able to use this feature, when you have not logged in to Netflirt yet via the login-page or when you have disabled cookies on your local web-browser. This is because that cookie (which, by the way, will only last as long as you reside in www.netflirt.de and will be deleted automatically as soon as you wander off to another website or close your web-browser) contains your username.

Jump into chatroom

Each section of the user display shows a symbol for the chatroom, the users displayed beneath currently are in. So when you want to enter a room a special user is in, simply click on that symbol and you are with these people. Very simple.
