The complex functionality of the Global Chat Interface (GCI) satisfies all your needs for contemporary interstellar cummunication:

1:   The travel display shows you your current location as well as navigation buttons for movement in this room.

2:   The chat console is where the actual messages appear. Private messages will only appear on the recepient's display.

3:   Typing tool. this is where you type in your messages. Hit 'return' to send your message.

4:   Participators list shows you all the people currently in the room. Double-click a name to send the next message as private.
Note: If you send a message as private, your Netflirt Identification Card will appear in the recipients upper right GCI-display.

5:   Basic function buttons:

   Silence:
Simply select the user from the participators list and click this button to ignore messages from annoying users.
To reactivate this person on your screen, simply repeat the same procedure.

   Email:
Starts Netflirts internal email-system. For more info check the mail and userscan help-page.

   Map:
Displays the map of the Netflirt system. Use this function for secure travelling from one chat-system to another.

   Home:
This button takes you back to the Netflirt homepage.

   Beam:
For superfast travelling, use new beaming-technologies. Simply click the beam-button and pick your target destination in the upper left window.
But be advised: due to the fact that beaming is a rather new field of scientific research, malfunctions are still likely to appear.
